FOOD REVIEW - Pad Thai

We went to Bangkok last February, and it was a memorable trip. Why? Well, aside from all the fun we had, we also had to wait 12 hours in the airport for our flight back! Good thing we had a delicious Thai lunch to keep us going. I ordered Pad Thai. I once tasted this dish in one of our cooking classes before, and it was goood! But eating it in Thailand, it wasn't that good. I don't know, maybe it was just the restaurant's cooking. It was too sweet for my taste. Very far from the Pad Thai I tasted before. I guess I should rethink this one. Unless I taste another version that I like better, I think I'll just be giving this one 2 stars. :)

Crispy Chicken Burger

FOOD REVIEW - Jollibee Crispy Chicken Burger

I love Jollibee's Crispy Chicken Burger. This is one of my favorite things to order when I eat at Jollibee. The chicken fillet is great tasting, and it has just the right amount of mayo dressing for my taste. Of course, I take out the lettuce first before eating, but the point is, it's a snack that I enjoy having. Love the bun, too! I give this a 4 out of 5 food review star rating.

Shirley Temple

FOOD REVIEW - Shirley Temple

I don't drink alcoholic drinks, so when we go out, it's either iced tea for me, or some other drink, as long as it doesn't contain any alcohol. At times when I get tired of iced tea, I order a ladies' drink like Shirley Temple. The good thing about it is that it doesn't have alcohol, and it tastes sweet. At least I could take a break from iced tea with it. It's a refreshing drink, I love it especially if it's really cold. It's fruity and light, and has a beautiful clear red color too. I give this one a 3 out of 5 food review star rating.

Shakey's Chicken Meal

FOOD REVIEW - Shakey's Chicken Meal

Today's food review is just a simple chicken meal from Shakey's. This is my lunch for today. I wanted to have a heavier meal, but since I'm trying to cut back, I ordered this instead. The chicken piece looks really small, but it was enough for me. It tasted good, crunchy and juicy. So I can say that Shakey's does have good chicken aside from their delicious pizzas. I had to order extra gravy, coz you know me, I love gravy. I even mix it with my rice. Hehe. Anyway, I give this meal a 3 out of 5.

Berry Knots

FOOD REVIEW - Berry Knots

You might say I'm a kid for liking pretzels, but I can't resist Berry Knots. It's strawberry cream coated pretzels that smell well and taste delicious. This snack comes in 3 flavors, I think. Choco, Milk, and Strawberry, but I like Strawberry best. It smells absolutely delicious. It's a good dessert after a meal or simply something to munch on. Four stars for the food review!

International Buffet

FOOD REVIEW - Emilion's International Buffet

It's been over a week since I last did a food review, been so busy, I barely have time to eat out, let alone do a food review. Anyway, since I'm here, I'd like to share what we had for dinner last night. We went to a hotel that had this international buffet, and we decided to try it out. The menu was great! I loved every dish they had to offer.

This plate consists of some garlic rice, lasagna, pork kebabs, beef stroganoff, and fish fillet. The food was awesome! We used to go there for their japanese buffet, but I think I like the international buffet better. I had 3 helpings of the main course, talk about a huge appetite. LOL. Looks delicious, ain't it?

Rosemary Chicken

FOOD REVIEW - Messe's Rosemary Chicken

For my next food review, We checked out another restaurant called Messe, because it's known for their great tasting bread. It was my first time there, and I didn't know what to order so I just based my order on how the name of the meal sounded. After a few minutes perusing the menu, I finally settled on some Rosemary Chicken. I have to say I didn't enjoy the meal that much. The chicken was bland and I wasn't too crazy about the sauce either. Of course, I didn't touch the onion rings that came along with it. But I did finish off the whole meal, though I didn't particularly liked it. I wish I ordered a different meal instead. But it's okay... at least now I know that dish is not that good.

Pink Chocolate

FOOD REVIEW - Pink Chocolate

We went back to Dulgies, and I ordered this drink called Pink Chocolate. I liked the name, it sounded yummy. And true to it's yummy name, the drink was delicious. It was candy sweet, with a little chocolatey taste. It's topped with whipped cream, candy sprinkles, and milky strips. I loved it, coz it was refreshing, minty, sweet, all at the same time! My friend said it was too sweet for her taste, but it was just right for me. It was a little expensive, but it was worth it. Food review rating of 4 stars.

Super Platter Meal

FOOD REVIEW - Shakey's Supper Platter Meal

We ate lunch at Shakey's and I was so hungry I ordered the Super Platter Meal. It consisted of 2 slices of pizza, 1 small serving of spaghetti, vegetable salad, 1 pc fried chicken, 2 pcs mojo potatoes, and 1 raisin brownie for dessert. Talk about a huge appetite! Hehe. I didn't touch the salad of course, I gave it to my friend instead. But the rest of the food is yummy, and it was very filling. I liked the taste of spaghetti, and the chicken was great too. Pizza was just so-so, and as for the dessert, I don't really like raisins so I picked them out before eating the brownie. LOL. I had a big lunch, and I was very full after I finished the plate. If lunch was this heavy everyday, I would get fat easily. Haha.

FOOD REVIEW - G-Mix 5-in-1 Snacks

Another junk food review! This is the latest junk food I've tried, it's called G-Mix and it's unique because instead of just one type of chips, it has five! You have corn chips, circle puffs, cheese sticks, cheese curls, and grain chips all in one pack! So there's something for every preference.

Currently, it only has the cheddar cheese flavor available, but I hope they would manufacture barbeque flavored chips. That's the flavor I love most in chips. Or maybe hot and spicy ones. Hehe. But I did enjoy this snack, mainly because it has different kinds of chips, and that alone is interesting enough for my taste buds. LOL. With that, I'll give this a food review rating of 3 stars.
